Mumbai: Trailytics AI has announced the appointment of Chandan Mukherji to its Advisory Board as Chief Strategic Advisory, marking a significant addition to the analytics firm’s leadership bench as it scales its offerings across brand analytics, demand planning, attribution, measurement and supply intelligence.
The appointment was announced by Anirudh V, Founder and CEO of Trailytics AI, in a LinkedIn post welcoming Mukherji to the board.
Mukherji joins Trailytics AI with an extensive leadership track record across some of the world’s best-known consumer goods companies. His most recent role was Director, Executive Vice President – Strategy, Marketing & Communication at Nestlé India, where he spent over a decade shaping the company’s brand strategy and communications agenda. Earlier in his career, he served as Global Head of Insights at Nestlé’s Switzerland headquarters, working across international markets, and held earlier leadership positions as Group Manager at Hindustan Unilever (HUL).
Announcing the move, Anirudh V noted that Mukherji brings decades of experience across strategy, consumer insights, marketing and business transformation to the role.
The appointment comes at a moment when consumer journeys are increasingly fragmented across commerce, media, retail and digital touchpoints — making the ability to connect data, decisions and execution across functions a growing priority for consumer-facing businesses. In the announcement, Trailytics AI pointed to Mukherji’s experience building consumer-centric organizations and leading large-scale transformations as a guiding asset for the company as it continues to build out its analytics capabilities.
Commenting on the partnership, Mukherji said the future belongs to organizations able to bring consumer understanding, commercial execution and technology together into one decision-making framework, adding that he looks forward to working with the Trailytics team as they build tools to help businesses make faster, better decisions across the consumer journey.
Mukherji’s exit from Nestlé India was announced in late 2025 as part of a broader senior-leadership reshuffle at the company, with his departure effective December 31, 2025. Since then, he has taken on speaking and advisory engagements across the marketing and startup ecosystem, and his appointment at Trailytics AI marks his first formal advisory board role since leaving Nestlé.
Trailytics AI said it looks forward to learning from Mukherji’s experience and perspective as it continues building solutions for the evolving needs of consumer businesses.
