Mumbai: The Advertising Club Bangalore has announced the launch of Put One Q. This is a new event IP built around a single, simple idea: put a curated room of brand marketers and creative professionals together, over a defined quizzer-mixer engagement on all-time great brand work that shaped the industry and campaign trivia. The debut edition was held at Biere Club, HSR, drawing participation from marketers and professionals across organizations like Amazon, Ogilvy, Curefit, Famous, Myntra, Allen, Wipro, Nuvie, Razorpay, Nestle, Poetic Potato, AirAsia etc.
Part quizzer, part mixer, Put One Q is designed to keep the chatter on brand-building and advertising alive, but without the stiffness of a conventional networking night. The IP was architected to be an antidote to the industry mixer problem: a room full of interesting people and nothing to break the ice. Put One Q solves it structurally through team formats, rounds, scoring and defined introductions, so conversation happens over shared answers and friendly rivalry rather than forced small talk.

Sneha Prathap, Marketing Lead at Allen, and a member of the winning team, said, “This was a rare industry event that felt like a hangout rather than an obligation. Kudos to the organising team for putting this Q together! I may not entirely stop talking about walking out as the winner along with team members I’d never met before.“
“The Ad Club has always been about helping our community connect, sharpen their craft and celebrate great work. Every generation of talent needs its own room to do that in.

“Put One Q is us building a format for the next generation of marketers and creatives. Lighter, sharper, and fun at the core of it all. We believe small rooms are the next big bets. We intend to scale this across Bangalore and keep experimenting with new ways to bring the fraternity together. Credits to Athul Uday, Amogh Ravindra, Sneha Walke and the entire committee, who brought Put One Q to life, and relentlessly work on new initiatives on behalf of the Advertising community,” said Laeeq Ali, President, The Advertising Club Bangalore.
Athul Uday, Amogh Ravindra, who put the quizzer-mixer together, remarked, “This is our way of giving Bengaluru’s brand and creative community a reason to step out from behind their screens and actually talk to each other. Advertising has always thrived on collisions of ideas, and there’s no better way to spark that than a room full of cool people geeking out over brand trivia, and forging new friends in the process”.
