Tokyo: Global brand consultancy Interbrand has appointed Tetsuhisa Fujii as Managing Partner, Tokyo and Representative Director, strengthening its leadership team in Japan and reinforcing its focus on accelerating growth in the region.
The appointment marks a strategic investment in Interbrand’s Tokyo hub, which has witnessed continued growth in recent years driven by strong client demand and the strength of its local team. Fujii’s appointment will support the next phase of development for the business in Japan, with a focus on creating new opportunities and further strengthening Interbrand’s position in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
As Managing Partner, Fujii will work closely with Interbrand’s Global Leadership Team to drive transformation and growth initiatives across the region. Hiromitsu Hatakeyama and Noriko Sato will continue in their roles as General Managers of the Tokyo hub, leading strategy and growth initiatives.
Fujii brings extensive experience across brand consultancy, business development and digital innovation. He began his career at Hakuhodo, where he held multiple roles before moving to Spotify, where he spent five years leading regional sales. Most recently, he served as General Manager at The Trade Desk, focusing on client development and business growth.
