Mumbai: Stone Sapphire India Pvt. Ltd. has announced a strategic investment in The Hierophant Entertainment and entered into a worldwide distribution partnership to expand the Legends of the Ramayan collectibles franchise across global markets.
The investment comes amid renewed interest in the Ramayan, fuelled by the upcoming release of a major cinematic adaptation of the epic. The companies aim to capitalise on the growing demand for theology-inspired merchandise, collectibles and storytelling among collectors, enthusiasts and younger audiences.
Under the partnership, Stone Sapphire will leverage its expertise in manufacturing, licensing, retail and global distribution to scale Legends of the Ramayan, a franchise featuring premium action figures and comic books inspired by India’s epic. The collaboration is also aimed at building an Indian-origin intellectual property with international appeal.
