Gurugram: MSM Unify, the global student mobility and education technology platform, has announced the appointment of Prashant Singh as Associate Vice President, India Campus Business. In his new role, Singh will work closely with universities and colleges across India to expand MSM Unify’s institutional partnerships and strengthen its presence in the country’s higher education ecosystem.
With 17 years of experience in India’s education sector, Singh brings extensive expertise in business development, sales leadership, institutional partnerships and operations. Prior to joining MSM Unify, he served as Associate Vice President at CollegeDekho, where he built and scaled the company’s sales function from the ground up. During his tenure, he led sales and operations across India, managed a team of more than 55 professionals and drove a business of over ₹75 crore, delivering 100% year-on-year growth for seven consecutive years.
Throughout his career, Singh has developed strong relationships with leading educational institutions, including Parul University, LPU and Amity University. His experience also includes leadership roles at HT Media, Macmillan Publishers India, Educomp Solutions and Naukri.com, providing him with extensive insight into the evolution of India’s education and recruitment sectors.
Singh’s appointment strengthens MSM Unify’s India Campus Business, a vertical launched earlier this year under the leadership of Rohit Kumar, Founding Member & President, India Campus Business. The vertical focuses on partnering with Indian universities and colleges through student recruitment solutions, digital marketing capabilities and technology-driven admissions platforms.

Commenting on the appointment, Sanjay Laul, Founder, MSM Unify, said, “India is at the heart of everything we are building at MSM Unify. What we need are leaders who understand Indian institutions not from a distance, but from years of sitting across the table from them. Prashant is exactly that person. He has spent his entire career earning the trust of universities and colleges in this country, and I am delighted to welcome him to our family.”
Rohit Kumar, Founding Member & President, India Campus Business, MSM Unify, said, “I have worked with Prashant for many years and have seen first-hand what he can build. He took a sales function from zero to a ₹75 crore business, and he did it by putting relationships first. As we scale our India Campus Business, there is no one I would rather have alongside me. His joining is a big moment for our team.”
Speaking on his appointment, Prashant Singh, Associate Vice President, India Campus Business, MSM Unify, said, “Indian institutions today want partners who can deliver real outcomes students, visibility, and technology that actually works for them. That is exactly what MSM Unify offers, and that is why this move felt natural to me. I am excited to reunite with Rohit and to help build something meaningful for Indian higher education.”
The appointment comes as MSM Unify continues to invest in expanding its India operations. The company has committed USD 12 million (approximately ₹100 crore) towards its India Campus Business, reflecting its long-term focus on the Indian higher education market. Singh’s appointment is part of a broader leadership expansion strategy aimed at strengthening the company’s institutional network and scaling its technology-led education solutions across the country.
