New Delhi: Rungta Tea Private Limited has appointed Sanjay Kumar Bhatia as General Manager – Sales for North India, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its expansion across key northern markets.
The appointment comes as the New Delhi-headquartered tea company advances its regional growth strategy, with North India identified as a key market in its roadmap to achieve 50% turnover growth by 2027.
Bhatia brings over 40 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with deep expertise in sales leadership, distribution management and trade development. Prior to joining Rungta Tea, he served as Deputy General Manager at Fena Private Limited, where he managed an ₹800-crore business across North India, overseeing a network of 450 distributors and leading a team of more than 300 professionals.
Over the course of his career, Bhatia has built and scaled sales operations across some of India’s most competitive consumer markets, developing extensive expertise in distributor management, market expansion and channel development.
In his new role at Rungta Tea, Bhatia will lead the company’s sales operations across North India, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, with a focus on strengthening distribution, deepening relationships with channel partners and expanding the brand’s market presence across the region. His appointment reflects the company’s continued investment in leadership capabilities to support its next phase of growth.
