Mumbai: Strategic consulting firm WolfzHowl Strategic Instigations has launched Good Wolf, its first branded service in 14 years, marking a significant expansion into the social development, sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) space. The dedicated practice is designed to help organisations create measurable and sustained behaviour change through belief-led strategies.
The launch comes at a time when investments in CSR and sustainability initiatives are accelerating across India. According to the company, CSR spending by NSE main board-listed companies increased 23% in FY25 to ₹22,212 crore, with nearly half of the mandated companies spending beyond the statutory requirement. As government missions, ESG investments and foundation funding continue to expand, organisations are increasingly seeking measurable outcomes and long-term impact from their programmes.
Good Wolf aims to bridge this gap by focusing on citizen and community behaviour change rather than simply tracking programme outputs. The practice will offer services including belief diagnostics and community research, behaviour change strategy, intervention design, communication planning, and measurement of behavioural outcomes.
The new practice will work across multiple sectors including public health, gender and social equity, climate adaptation, financial inclusion, education, skilling, and responsible corporate behaviour. Its clientele is expected to include corporates with CSR mandates, government programmes, NGOs, healthcare organisations and philanthropic foundations.
At the core of Good Wolf’s approach is BbOS (Belief and Behaviour Operating System), WolfzHowl’s proprietary methodology that identifies existing beliefs, maps the behaviours they influence, designs interventions to encourage positive actions and measures whether behavioural shifts are sustained over time.
The company said the new practice builds on its experience across both commercial brand strategy and social development initiatives, enabling organisations to strengthen social impact while supporting broader brand objectives where relevant. Previous work includes sustainability and behaviour change programmes for Mahindra e2o, BEEM, and Husk’s solar and rural e-commerce initiatives.

“India’s social capital has learned to flow. Now it has to learn to prove. Brands learned long ago that behaviour does not change until belief does, and development capital deserves that same rigour. Good Wolf is our first branded service because this work means the most to us. We are not launching an ambition—we are naming a body of work we have already done. We leave behind an operating system, not a report,” said Kalyan Ram Challapalli, Founder, WolfzHowl Strategic Instigations.
Good Wolf launches with experience from programmes already implemented by WolfzHowl. These include Samman, a community belief programme for the Jal Jeevan Mission developed with Tata Trusts and four state governments, field initiatives with women dairy farmers in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district, Khud Se Jeet, a cervical cancer belief-change campaign recognised among the top 50 advertisements of the previous year by a leading publication, and Pehchaan Ki Chori Wali Bimari, an ongoing campaign aimed at reshaping public understanding of dementia.
The company added that it continues to support corporate CSR programmes and select social impact mandates, positioning Good Wolf as a dedicated practice focused on delivering measurable behavioural outcomes for organisations investing in long-term social change
