Mumbai: Himalaya BabyCare has unveiled a new digital campaign for its Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo, focusing on the emotional bond between mothers and babies while highlighting the product’s ‘No Tears’ formulation.
The campaign film is built around a mother’s promise to make bath time a comfortable and joyful experience for her baby. Through a nostalgic narrative, the film contrasts traditional bath experiences where harsh formulations often caused irritation and tears with the brand’s gentle care approach designed for babies.
The digital film showcases a mother recalling her own childhood bath experiences before reassuring her baby that bath time will be different, reinforcing Himalaya BabyCare’s focus on safe, gentle and scientifically developed baby care solutions.
At the centre of the campaign is Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo’s ‘No Tears’ formula, designed to provide a soothing cleansing experience without eye irritation. The shampoo contains natural ingredients including Rice, Hibiscus, Chickpea and Vetiver, which help nourish a baby’s delicate scalp while maintaining soft, smooth and shiny hair. The product also features a pH 5.5 balance to support scalp health and is formulated for everyday use from day one.

Speaking on the launch, Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “At Himalaya BabyCare, we understand that bath time is an important bonding moment between parents and babies. However, for many parents, concerns around discomfort and tears can disrupt this beautiful and meaningful experience. With our Gentle Baby Shampoo and its ‘No Tears’ formulation, we aim to transform bath time into a happy, comforting ritual that parents can look forward to – helping mothers fulfil their promise of a happy, tear-free bath time.”
Himalaya BabyCare said the shampoo has been clinically tested and dermatologically evaluated, with a formulation free from Parabens, Phthalates and Synthetic Color. The brand added that the product is designed to provide gentle cleansing while supporting the health of a baby’s scalp and hair.
The campaign has been released in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali, to connect with parents across diverse markets in India.
With the new campaign, Himalaya BabyCare aims to strengthen its positioning in the baby care segment by combining nature-led formulations, scientific validation and emotional storytelling focused on the needs of modern parents.
