Mumbai: HDFC Mutual Fund (HDFC MF), a mutual fund house, has completed one year of its investor education initiative Mission Samriddhi, aimed at strengthening financial awareness among armed forces personnel and their families.
Launched on Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, 2025, Mission Samriddhi has conducted more than 130 financial literacy sessions across Army, Navy and Air Force establishments, reaching over 15,000 defence personnel across the country.
The initiative was introduced to help members of the armed forces and their families gain greater understanding of financial planning, mutual funds, disciplined investing and long-term wealth creation. Over the past year, the programme has expanded its reach across defence establishments in cities including Patiala, Ambala, Agra and Aizawl.
Designed around the specific financial planning needs of defence personnel, Mission Samriddhi focuses on enabling informed investment decisions and promoting long-term financial resilience.
To extend support beyond physical sessions, HDFC Mutual Fund has also introduced a dedicated missed-call helpline (73581 12345) exclusively for armed forces personnel. The service provides access to information, assistance and continued learning resources related to mutual funds and investing.

Commenting on the milestone, Navneet Munot, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, said, “The men and women of our armed forces dedicate their lives to protecting the nation, and Mission Samriddhi is our way of supporting them build a financial well-being for the future.
