Himalaya BabyCare Launches ‘Matchy Matchy pH’ Campaign Highlighting Baby Skin’s Natural pH Balance
Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: Himalaya BabyCare has launched its latest campaign, ‘Matchy Matchy pH’, aimed at raising awareness among parents about the importance of maintaining the natural pH balance of a baby’s delicate skin.

The campaign features the Himalaya BabyCare pH 5.5 Gentle Range, comprising Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo, Himalaya Gentle Baby Wash, Gentle Baby Lotion and Gentle Baby Cream. The range is positioned around supporting the natural pH balance of baby skin, protecting the skin barrier and helping lock in moisture.

At the heart of the campaign is a digital film built around a relatable parenting moment. The film shows a mother carefully dressing her baby in a matching outfit before introducing another important match — the pH level of the baby’s skin.

Through the simple thought “Matchy Matchy pH,” the campaign draws a parallel between the attention parents give to matching their baby’s clothes and the importance of choosing skincare products that match the natural pH of their baby’s skin.

The campaign is built on the insight that baby skin is more delicate than adult skin and requires specialised care. Through a light-hearted and engaging narrative, Himalaya BabyCare aims to encourage parents to look beyond basic skincare and consider products that support the skin’s natural barrier.

Commenting on the campaign, Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness, said, “At Himalaya BabyCare, we strive to make baby care hassle-free and worry-free by helping parents understand how simple, informed choices can make a meaningful difference to their baby’s skin health. Parents thoughtfully consider every choice they make for their babies, and maintaining the skin’s natural pH is that important choice for healthy infant skin. Through the ‘Matchy Matchy pH’ campaign, we aim to create awareness about the importance of pH-balanced skincare in helping protect a baby’s delicate skin barrier while providing gentle, safe, and effective care that parents can trust every day.”

The campaign highlights the Himalaya BabyCare pH 5.5 Gentle Range, including Gentle Baby Shampoo, Gentle Baby Wash, Gentle Baby Lotion and Gentle Baby Cream. According to the brand, the products are formulated to support the natural pH balance of infant skin, protect the skin barrier and help retain moisture for soft, healthy-looking skin.

The campaign is being rolled out across digital and social media, with additional regional amplification planned to engage parents across India. The campaign is available in Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Odia and Assamese, making the communication accessible to parents across different linguistic markets.

With ‘Matchy Matchy pH’, Himalaya BabyCare aims to strengthen awareness around pH-balanced baby skincare while reinforcing its positioning around gentle and informed care for infants.
