Chennai : Tamil satellite channels Zee Tamizh is set to have lined up a six super hit movies on the occasion of Pongal festival celebration for two days, January 15th and 16th.
Out of the six movies scheduled, two of them are being Premiered on Television and remaining four are Special movies that are recent releases. The channel has lined up ace Camera Man Ravi K Chandran’s directorial debut film ”Yaan” and actor Krissh starrer ”Vaanavarayan Vallavarayan” as the Premier movies.
while, ”Yaan” was scheduled for telecast on 16th January at 5 PM, ”Vaanavarayan Vallavarayan” will be aired at 5PM on 15th January.
Zee Tamizh’s Super Hit movies scheduled for 15th January includes, another Jeeva starrer romcom movie ”Endrendrum Punnagai” which will be aired at 11am and actor Jai starrer ”Vadacurry” that will be aired at 2pm and on 16th January the channel has lined up M.K Arulnidhi starrer ”Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum” at 11am and actor Vimal starrer ”Manjapai” at 2pm.
The channel has completely sealed the two important festive days of Tamil audience, with the film fiesta of above mentioned six movies, lined up back to back during the entire day, keeping itself competent enough with other leading channels in the Market.
Market leader Sun TV has announced the premier of actor Dhanush starrer ”Velayilla Pattadhari” (VIP) and Vijay TV has lined up Kathi starrer ”Madras” as their Premier offering for this Pongal.
