Chennai: Advertising Club Madras is one of the largest and active Ad Club in the country. Established in 1956, Ad Club Madras has been in the forefront of promoting learning, training and networking among the advertising and media fraternity in South India. The Club has close to 1000 members.
Recognising the changes happening in the advertising industry and to appeal to a broader audience, the Club has decided to go in for a makeover. As a starting point the Club is planning to change its Logo on the occasion of its 60th anniversary.
But what is unique is it’s asking its members to design the new logo. The club has announced a contest among its member agencies and organisation to design and submit the future logo of the Club.
This way the club believes that there will be more ownership and interest among the members to actively collaborate in the club’s activities and events. Interested non members can also take part in the contest by becoming a member of Ad Club.
The Winning Entry will get a cash Prize of Rs.25, 000/- and also the pride of being adopted as the new logo of the club.
