Asian Paints turns shades into stories for NaPoWriMo with Ogilvy India

Mumbai: In a distinctive tribute to National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), Asian Paints, in partnership with Ogilvy India, launched a poetic and colour-rich digital campaign that brought together two powerful forms of expression — poetry and paint.

Throughout April, Ogilvy India curated a series of original poems exclusively crafted using shade names from Asian Paints’ expansive palette. Shared across the brand’s social media platforms, each verse delicately spotlighted a specific shade, transforming colour into story and story into shade.

This creative initiative served as both a product showcase and an emotional engagement campaign, positioning Asian Paints not just as a leader in home décor, but also as a brand deeply attuned to culture, creativity, and the art of self-expression.

Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, commented on the campaign’s intent, “Colours speak. Sometimes, they shout with joy, and sometimes, they whisper like poetry. With this NaPoWriMo initiative, we wanted to let each Asian Paints shade express itself through verse — subtle, evocative, and beautifully human. It’s a quiet celebration of creativity that lives on our walls and in our words.”
