Asianet is set to telecast the launching ceremony of the ninth season of “Star Singer” on 15th and 16th July at 7 PM, with regular episodes starting from 22nd July.
The judging panel consists of singers K S Chithra, Sithara, and Vidhu Prathap. This edition will feature sixteen contestants from across Kerala competing for the top spot. In addition to the jury members, distinguished personalities from the film industry, including artists, singers, and musicians, will attend as celebrity guests. The show will be hosted by RJ Varsha.
The official inauguration of Star Singer season 9 took place with the lighting of the Bhadra Deepam by famous musician and Oscar award winner Keeravaani, Mamtha Mohandas, judges K S Chithra, Sithara, Vidhu Prathap, and Asianet Channel Head Kishan Kumar, among others. The launch event introduced the 16 highly talented contestants and the jury panel.
