Kolkata: Bangla ZEE5 is set to stream Kaushik Ganguly’s blockbuster romantic thriller Dhumketu from 8th May, 2026. The movie presents megastar Dev, Subhashree Ganguly, Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Rudranil Ghosh and Parambrata Chattopadhyay in key roles.
Dhumketu will narrate the story of Bhanu, a man who was presumed to be dead mysteriously returns to his hometown on a coveted suicide mission. As the narrative unfolds the viewers witnesses a powerful emotional journey that explores the inner turmoil between Bhanu’s commitment to an extremist cause and an undeniable pull of his past relationships.

Dhumketu stars Megastar Dev as Bhanu Sinha, actors, Subhashree Ganuly as Rupa, Rudranil Ghosh as Jogesh Chandra Sharma, Chiranjeet Chakraborty as Chief, Parambrata Chatterjee as Anindya Mitra, Dulal Lahiri as Surjo Singha, Alokananda Roy as Bhanu’s mother and Masood Akhtar in the character of a Police Inspector.
Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, Dhumketu is jointly produced by megastar Dev and Rana Sarkar. Singer and Musician, Anupam Roy has composed the chartbuster music for Dhumketu.
