Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India has appointed Barath Sundaram as Head of Non-Fiction for the Tamil market, reinforcing its focus on strengthening regional content and expanding its non-fiction programming portfolio.
In his new role, Barath will lead the strategy, development, and execution of non-fiction content for SPNI’s Tamil offerings, with a mandate to drive innovation and audience engagement in the highly competitive regional television landscape.
Barath joins SPNI from Think Studios, where he served as Director – Business & Creatives since 2022. He brings with him over a decade of experience in television content creation, with expertise spanning production management, storytelling, broadcasting, reality television, and creative strategy.
