BARC Week 4: TATA PLAY outshines and leads the Top Brands category

In the fourth week of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India report, Hindustan Lever Ltd. glued to the top spot with Ad Volumes of 4940.62 (‘000sec) among the top advertiser’s category. Reckitt (India) Ltd claimed the second position with 3449.43 (‘000 secs). Tata (G) was the new entrant in the Top 10 chart with 1188.69 (‘000 secs) claiming the third spot. Cadburys India Ltd. shifted one spot up and claimed the 4th position with 958.48 (‘000 secs) followed by ITC Ltd. with 549.18 (‘000 secs) at the 5th position. Godrej Group claimed the 6th spot with 540.8 (‘000 secs) followed by Procter & Gamble with 528.77 (‘000 secs) at the 7th spot. LIC India shifted one spot up at the 8th position with 463.76 (‘000 secs). Glaxo Smithkline Group also entered the Top 10 list claiming the 9th spot with 458.88 (‘000 secs). Colgate Palmolive India Ltd. retained its 10thspot with 425.4 (‘000 secs).

Top Brands         

In the top brand’s category, Tata Play, the new entrant in the Top 10 chart, outshined and claimed the top spot with Ad volumes of 672.02 (‘000 secs). Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean slipped to the 2nd spot with 477.26 (‘000 secs). Republic Day Greetings another new entrant claimed the 3rd spot with 397.85 (‘000 secs). Dettol Antiseptic Liquid slipped two spots down at the 4th position with 367.49 (‘000 secs). Vanish Oxi Action retained its 5th spot with 296.5 (‘000 secs). Ultratech Cement took a leap and claimed the 6th spot with 292.72 (‘000 secs). Lizol slipped to the 7th spot with 280.9 (‘000 secs) followed by Harpic Bathroom Cleaner with 274.02 (‘000 secs) at the 8th spot. Horlicks retained its 9th spot with 246.77 (‘000 secs). LIC-Corporate also entered the chart with Ad Volumes of 244.47 (‘000 secs) claiming the 10th spot.
