BARC Wk 50: HUL top advertiser; Health & Family Welfare Ministry tops the Brands chart

According to the  recently released BARC Ratings of top advertises and brands for week 50 for the period between 9th Dec’17 to 15th Dec. Hindustan Lever Ltd continues to lead the list of top advertisers with 131378 (000s) impressions whereas Ministry of Health & Family Welfare tops the top brands list with 14269 (000s) impressions. Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd with 44986 (000s) impressions and Procter & Gamble with 36257(000s) impressions are seen interchanging their positions occupying the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

ITC Ltd is seen as a new entrant this week in the 4th position with 31136(000s) impressions pushing Patanjali Ayurved Ltd to the 6th place with 23888 (000s) impressions. Cadburys India Ltd is seen retaining its place at the 5th place with 29459 (000s) impressions. Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd has stepped down to the 7th place with 23069 (000s) impressions, eliminating Dabur India Ltd from this weeks’ list. Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd has retained its position in the 8th place with 18899 (000s) impressions and the 9th and 10 place interchanged by Colgate Palmolive India Ltd and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd with 18819(000s) and 18458(000s) impressions respectively.

Brands like Ministry Of Health & Family Welfare with 14269 (000s) impressions has topped the list by pushing Videocon d2h to the 2nd place with 13401(000s) impressions HP racer is seen occupying the 3rd place with 10968(000s) impressions placing Airtel Prepaid Promise to the 7th place with 8705(000s) impressions.

While the list this week has seen shuffled with Trivago managing to stay in its 5th place though it has dropped in its impressions by 206, Amazon Prime Video has dropped to the 8th place with 8558 (000s) impressions, and the last two places in the top 10 list is occupied by the new entrants Clinic Plus Shampoo and Dettol Toilet Soaps with 8404 (000s) and 7909(000s) impressions. Brands like Vivo V7/V7 Plus, Dove Cream Bathing Bar, Sprite and Horlicks have been eliminated from the top 10 brands list this week.
