Mumbai: Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV), a Mankind Group company focused on women’s health and fertility treatments, has launched its #findyourmissingjoy campaign on the occasion of World IVF Day, reinforcing its commitment to advancing fertility care through scientific innovation and greater public awareness.
The campaign, anchored by a digital film, seeks to encourage infertile couples to consult qualified fertility specialists at an early stage, highlighting the importance of timely medical evaluation in improving treatment outcomes. Through the initiative, BSV aims to normalize conversations around infertility and position fertility as an integral part of reproductive health.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around one in six adults globally experiences infertility. In India, clinical estimates suggest that infertility affects between 15 million and 20 million couples, with many delaying medical consultation because of limited awareness, restricted access to treatment and persistent social stigma.
India has strengthened its fertility care ecosystem through the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021, which seeks to promote safe, ethical and quality fertility services. Industry bodies such as the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), in collaboration with UNFPA India, have also advocated integrating pre-conception care into routine healthcare to encourage informed reproductive planning.
Medical experts note that early fertility assessment can help diagnose conditions including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, diminished ovarian reserve, blocked fallopian tubes and male-factor infertility. Early diagnosis enables personalized treatment plans and allows couples to access appropriate fertility interventions, including IVF, when needed.

Highlighting the company’s position in the fertility segment, Sivani Sarma Deka, COO-India Business, BSV, said, “As a market leader in women’s health and Assisted Reproductive Technology, BSV has spent decades earning the trust of clinicians and families alike by consistently delivering scientifically recognized, world class quality treatments that are second to none. While our focus remains on providing patients with cutting-edge research, we stand committed to our goal of democratizing access to these advanced reproductive care solutions. On World IVF Day, BSV celebrates the incredible medical advancements in fertility care and continues its mission to normalize conversations around fertility. Through the latest #findyourmissingjoy campaign, we endeavour to expand scientific awareness and begin open conversations that address social stigmas. BSV continues to remain a trusted partner in the parenthood journey of couples and is committed to making advanced reproductive care a real, attainable path to parenthood for every aspiring family.”
The company said it will continue to drive educational initiatives aimed at dispelling myths around infertility, emphasizing that the condition can affect both men and women. BSV added that it is working with IVF clinics and healthcare providers to expand access to advanced reproductive technologies and make fertility treatments more widely available across diverse patient groups.
