Chennai : Director Cheran’s new initiative C2H (Cinema 2 Home) will have to wait for some more time to enthral the audience as the launch has been postponed for the second time.
The reason behind further delay is due to the assurance from the newly elected members of Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) under the leadership of Kalaipuli S Thanu. The body of Tamil Film Producers has assured their support to Cheran’s new idea and it seems now Cheran is planning for a grand launch of C2H and pushed the launch date from January 30 to mid-February.
Speaking on the postponement Director Cheran said ”We honoured the newly elected members of TFPC at a meeting of our distributors recently. we presented our efforts to end piracy and how C2H could solve the piracy problems. After hearing us out, Thanu said that such an initiative must be launched at a grand mega event attended by celebrities from the film world. He requested me to postpone the launch by another fortnight. Having been assured of the TFPC’s support, we have postponed our launch by a fortnight”
The main objective of this initiative is to enable filmmakers to maximize the revenue with the use of latest technology and unique distribution networks. The first film will be released through his technique is Cheran’s own JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai.
