Mumbai: Cipladine, India’s Medicated Antiseptic topical brand from Cipla Health, launched ‘Life ka First Aid’, a vibrant multi-channel campaign following the momentous occasion of World First Aid Day. The campaign utilizes a multi-pronged strategy to raise awareness of the importance of First Aid. The campaign slogan, ‘Life ka First Aid’ takes a leaf from the Cipladine brand tagline, ‘Skin Ka 1st Aid’, and endeavors to raise awareness on the importance of First Aid among the masses. As a topical antiseptic-germicidal brand, Cipladine was formulated to provide first aid treatment for minor cuts, wounds, burns, and skin infections. Thus, Cipladine rightfully stands for ‘Skin Ka 1st Aid’.

Commenting on the launch, Shivam Puri, CEO- Cipla Health Ltd., said, “The World First Aid Day was devised to raise public consciousness about how First Aid can save lives in case of an accident or crisis. Unfortunately, there is still a lack of general awareness about this very vital life-saving skill. Through the Life ka First Aid campaign, we hope to raise awareness on this very critical aspect of emergency care in line with our commitment to disseminating information regarding health and wellness issues among the general public. We have launched the campaign through our multipurpose antiseptic brand Cipladine, India’s no. 1 & highest selling as its powerful antiseptic-germicidal properties make it ideal for any First-Aid box.”

The multi-channel campaign aims to raise awareness by increasing engagement with Indians across all walks of everyday life and amplifying the message on First Aid through various media. It will include the dispersal of vital information through step-by-step guides, tips, and recommendations, coupled along with a wider consumer engagement through contests, quizzes, and conversations on social media with influencers reinforcing the importance of First Aid. This includes videos on how important is First Aid in different situations.  The campaign aims to reach 5M+ audiences through digital and social mediums.

This campaign takes a step ahead fromCipladine’s ‘Skin Ka 1st Aid’ campaign. Cipladineis a topical antiseptic-germicidal medicine that is formulated which helps in the treatment of minor cuts, wounds, burns and skin infections. Its key ingredient, Povidone Iodine is a trusted ingredient in skin formulations for over 6 decades. As an antibacterial agent, it fights bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast, and spores. Its antimicrobial action starts acting within 30 seconds** of application. Its persistent microbicidal properties continue working for up to 12 hours**, aiding the healing process by keeping the affected area infection-free.
