New Delhi : As India enters its 70th year of Independence, CNN-News18 and IBN7willpresent an array of special shows this 15thAugustto mark the occasion.
The special programming on CNN-News18 will include Tale of Tricolour – a special show on the history, politics and emotions associated with the Indian flag; Nationalism Debate – a debate show between various student leaders on what ‘Nationalism’ means to them; I-Day Playlist – the show will have 10 top patriotic songs and Freedom to be Funny –a special show featuring Cyrus Brocha and various comedians.
On IBN7, the programming will celebrate the spirit of independence with a number of special shows. The channel’s offering include 1947 Ek Maa Ka Dard – a heartwarming story of a family separated during partition and united after many years; AzadiKe Parwane – a special show dedicated to the martyrs and the families of the security personnel who have made supreme sacrifice for the country; AzadiKe Tarane – a compilation of popular patriotic Bollywood songs; Tirange Ki Kahani – a special show narrating the history of the Indian national flag and a one hour special episode of Shabash India that will showcase untold inspiring stories of young Indian innovators who have done ingenious work.
