Collective Media brings Indian epics to life with launch of ‘Historyverse’

Mumbai: In a move that redefines how India’s rich cultural stories are told for the digital era, Collective Media Network has announced the launch of Historyverse, a new content destination focused on mythology, history, and heritage-based storytelling. The platform is designed to captivate modern, mobile-first audiences with timeless narratives told through innovative formats.

Historyverse debuts with Mahabharata, India’s first AI-powered epic microdrama, created in partnership with devotional wellness brand Pujashree. The groundbreaking series features bite-sized episodes ranging from 3 to 4 minutes — blending the gravitas of Indian mythology with the pace and engagement of contemporary digital content.

Speaking on the launch, Vijay Subramaniam, Founder & Group CEO, Collective Artists Network, said, “India has always been a land of rich, layered stories. We’re using technology to bring these narratives to life in ways that resonate with today’s audience. Historyverse is a step toward that vision, a space where timeless stories are retold through new formats and tools. As a network, we’re focused on how stories move, how they connect, and how they evolve with culture.”

Fully generated using artificial intelligence, Mahabharata aims to engage younger viewers on platforms where short-form video dominates. The initiative highlights the potential of technology-driven storytelling to revive and reinterpret Indian epics for Gen Z and millennial audiences.
