London: CricViz has been appointed as the Official Data Collection Services and High Performance Partner for Cricket Australia under a multi-year agreement aimed at transforming data infrastructure and analytics across the sport.
The partnership is part of Cricket Australia’s broader data centralisation initiative, which seeks to establish a unified and reliable statistics platform. Through this collaboration, the governing body will gain access to advanced data and analytics tools designed to enhance both men’s and women’s high-performance programmes.
Beyond performance, the partnership is also set to elevate fan engagement. Cricket Australia audiences can expect richer match coverage, real-time insights, and interactive digital experiences powered by CricViz’s data widgets, predictive analytics, and editorialised content.
As part of the mandate, CricViz will deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions, including analytics services such as Query Tool, Centurion, and Video Scorecard, alongside its FastPath live data collection system, ball-by-ball video tagging, and downstream infrastructure like enhanced LED scoreboards, reporting portals, and streaming graphics. The offering also extends to fan engagement tools, including MVP player ratings, historical data feeds, and social media insights.
Commenting on the partnership, Michael Kivido, Managing Director for CricViz, said, “Cricket Australia is one of the most sophisticated cricket organisations in the world, and this partnership reflects what CricViz is building globally – a single, trusted data infrastructure that serves High Performance, Broadcast and Fan Engagement all under one roof. We are proud to add Cricket Australia to our growing network of official rightsholder partners and we’re looking forward to a long and productive relationship.”

James Allsopp, Chief of Cricket at Cricket Australia, added, “Data and video analytics are an enormously important aspect of team performance and we’re delighted this partnership will provide our teams access to CricViz’s state-of-the-art analytics products.
“The partnership will also greatly enhance our coverage of the game for fans across our sites and social media platforms and help further enrich their experience.”
With this development, CricViz further strengthens its global footprint, now providing data services to nine of the 12 Test-playing nations, alongside several leading cricket organisations, tournaments, and franchises worldwide.
