New Delhi: Cumin Co, India’s first patented 100% toxin-free enamel cast iron kitchenware brand, has announced its entry into the bakeware category with the launch of a new porcelain-grade ceramic and enamel cast iron bakeware collection. The range is fronted by renowned pastry chef and entrepreneur Pooja Dhingra, marking a significant expansion of the brand’s product portfolio beyond cookware.

The launch represents a strategic milestone for Cumin Co as it looks to build a comprehensive, innovation-led kitchenware ecosystem for Indian homes. With India’s bakeware market currently estimated at USD 100 million and at an inflection point driven by the rapid rise of home baking, the company is targeting a 10% market share over the next two to three years. Cumin Co is also aiming to reach an annual recurring revenue (ARR) milestone of ₹100 crore by next year, supported by category expansion, patented material innovation and increasing consumer preference for toxin-free kitchen solutions.

Designed specifically for Indian kitchens, the new collection addresses common challenges associated with mass-market bakeware. The porcelain-grade ceramic range offers even heat distribution, easy food release and resistance to stains, oils and odours, while the four-layer enamel cast iron range — including a Braiser and Bread Oven — is engineered for superior heat retention, consistent browning and even crust formation. The products are suited to compact ovens, high-heat cooking and frequent usage, catering to flavour-rich Indian recipes and multipurpose cooking needs.

The collaboration with Chef Pooja Dhingra adds cultural relevance and credibility to the launch. Widely regarded as one of the most influential voices in India’s baking community, Dhingra brings both aspiration and authenticity to a category that blends technical precision with emotional connection.
