FilterCopy tops the charts for Facebook video viewership in Oct 2017 – Vidooly report

FilterCopy tops the charts for Facebook video viewership

Mumbai: FilterCopy, the snackable video channel of Pocket Aces, has emerged as the top channel for Facebook video viewership for the month of October 2017 in India. In a report released by independent digital analytics provider, Vidooly, FilterCopy page ranked #1 on Facebook Video with more than 71 million (71,128,760) views in new age entertainment category with 2.74 million (2,743,641) lifetime followers.

FilterCopy left behind Buzzfeed (68,765,209), Wittyfeed India (63,011,588), Being Indian (62,004,713) and POPxoDaily (58,347,528). FilterCopy has consistently been a leader on Facebook video and had also topped the charts in August with over 64 million views (64,361,121). It is also a leader in term of the number of engagements (shares and comments) that it receives with its content.

Commenting on this growth Mr. Ashwin Suresh, Founder, Pocket Aces said, “It is an amazing feeling to be appreciated and accepted by the viewers considering we have always kept our viewers at the core of all of our content. Our success on Facebook video can be attributed to our sharable content thesis, which ensures that the content becomes the voice of the audience and they become the biggest advocates of our content. Lastly, for December, our content plan is ready and digital audiences will see over 20 content pieces every day. Pocket Aces has amassed more than a billion organic video views in the last two years and over 100 million organic views across various networks in the last month alone. The company has worked closely with over 40 advertisers including PepsiCo, Flipkart, Landmark Group, T series, Marico, Kingfisher, Oyo Rooms, Swiggy, etc, produced four super-hit web series, over 500 food and FilterCopy videos and over 5000 articles so far. Pocket Aces has a wide range of investors that include Sequoia Capital, Aarin Capital, 3one4 Capital, Axilor Ventures, and North Base Media among others.
