Mumbai: JSW Sports Pvt Ltd. has appointed seasoned media and sports content professional Gaurav Kalra as its new Chief Content & Marketing Officer. With over two decades of rich experience across journalism, content strategy, and digital media, Kalra’s entry signals a strong move by the company to elevate its storytelling and brand marketing in the Indian sports ecosystem.

Prior to joining JSW Sports, Kalra served as Vice President – Current Affairs at JioStar. His expansive career also includes key roles at Reliance Foundation, Network18 Media & Investments, ESPN, CNN-News18, Quintus/Wisden, Trans World International, and BITV—where he began his career in 1996 as an Assistant Producer.
Known for his deep editorial insights and nuanced storytelling, Kalra is widely respected for his contributions to both traditional and digital sports journalism. His expertise spans Broadcast and Online Journalism, Content Strategy, Corporate Communications, and Integrated Digital Media—making him a valuable addition to JSW Sports as it strengthens its narrative and brand positioning.
