Mumbai: To honour and celebrate women inventors in science, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals a research-led pharmaceutical company, launched a powerful digital campaign on International Day for Women and Girls in Science. The goal was to show how women inventors have made a positive impact on our daily lives with their ideas.

The campaign, conceptualised and executed by 1702 Digital, a digital and creative marketing agency, highlighted many inventions created by women that are now important in our everyday lives. From life-changing medical advancements to household conveniences, the digital initiative looked to highlight the role that women scientists and inventors play in shaping our world.

The crux of the message was to highlight that as one navigates through the advancements of modern society, it is easy to overlook the immense impact that women have had in the world of science and technology. Glenmark’s campaign sought to change that narrative by bringing attention to the remarkable achievements of women who have contributed to innovations that have become an integral part of our lives.

“As we celebrate the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, we are reminded of the invaluable contributions of women inventors to our world. Through our campaign with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., we aim to shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of these trailblazing women, inspiring future generations to pursue careers in science and fostering a more inclusive and innovative scientific community,” said Amit Panhale, Chief Brand Officer, 1702 Digital

Through visuals, content, and stories, Glenmark encouraged the stakeholders to reflect on how different life would be without these inventions. The campaign is aimed to evoke a sense of gratitude and admiration for the women who have paved the way for progress and made strides in various scientific fields.

By leveraging the power of storytelling on digital and media, Glenmark successfully reached a wide audience, encouraging individuals to appreciate the ingenuity and perseverance of women in science. The campaign not only celebrated the achievements of the past but also served as a reminder of the importance of supporting and encouraging women and girls to pursue careers in science.
