Mumbai: In a significant move within the global communications industry, Golin and Ketchum have officially combined operations to launch Golin Ketchum, a new agency brand that brings together the strengths of two of the sector’s most established names under a unified operating model.
The newly formed organization will provide integrated communications services spanning brand and consumer marketing, corporate affairs, healthcare, technology, and food, agriculture and nutrition. The agency will leverage a worldwide network of offices, specialist practices, and industry expertise to serve clients across markets.
Leading the combined entity is Matt Neale, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Golin Ketchum, while Tamara Norman will take on the role of President.
According to Neale, the merger is aimed at redefining the communications agency landscape by combining creative excellence with deep category expertise.
Matt Neale, CEO, Golin Ketchum, said, “Golin Ketchum was formed with a clear ambition to shake up the agency landscape with unmatched creativity and category expertise. For our clients, this means access to world-class resources and integrated capabilities. For our people, it means career-defining opportunities and the chance to do the best work of our lives, for the greatest clients in the world.”
The agency has been built around three guiding principles—creating with bravery, leading with curiosity, and collaborating as a superpower. Its purpose statement, “Together, we’ll do the best work of our lives and create change that matters,” reflects the company’s focus on combining creativity, innovation, and impact.
Alongside the launch, Golin Ketchum has introduced a new visual identity. Central to the branding is “Flare,” a vibrant red-orange colour designed to represent the energy and ambition of the merged organization. The identity also features a new symbol inspired by the agency’s initials, created to work consistently across markets, sectors, and specialist practices.
Matt added, “This isn’t simply a brand launch. It’s our declaration of intent. Golin Ketchum offers clients the most awarded creative team in the world underpinned by a relentless curiosity and the most effective AI and data solutions. We embody the apex of human creativity and next generation technology.”
While the agencies will now operate as a single global organization, the company said clients will continue working with their existing account teams. The merger is designed to preserve established client relationships while expanding access to a broader pool of talent, technology, and specialist capabilities across the combined network.
The decision to retain both agency names was driven by the strong market recognition and client equity built by each brand over the years.
We considered a range of options, but ultimately the strongest choice was the simplest one. Both Golin and Ketchum have built strong relationships with clients and strong reputations in the market. Bringing the names together honors that history while reflecting the future we’re building as one organization.”, added Matt.
The launch comes amid broader organizational changes within Omnicom Public Relations (OPR), which has been restructuring its Asia-Pacific leadership model to encourage greater collaboration and integrated client support across its agency portfolio.
Effective July 1, 2026, OPR’s revamped regional structure is intended to deliver more seamless client service across markets and agency brands, including Weber Shandwick, Golin and FleishmanHillard.
As part of the changes, OPR has named Yisi Liu as President and General Manager of China, Carol Yeung as President and General Manager of Hong Kong, Ryo Kanayama as President and General Manager of Japan, Elizabeth Bae as President and General Manager of Korea, and Carolyn Ann Devanayagam as President and General Manager of Singapore, alongside her additional role as Head of Advisory for OPR APAC.
The network has also strengthened its regional leadership across growth, client experience, strategy, creative, health, analytics, corporate reputation, risk management, and financial and professional services practices, reinforcing its focus on integrated communications capabilities across the region.
