Mumbai: Hindi ZEE5 has premiered Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, the latest romantic comedy from filmmaker David Dhawan, exclusively on the platform from July 31. Produced by Ramesh Taurani under the Tips Films banner, the film stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles and promises a blend of romance, comedy, misunderstandings and larger-than-life entertainment.
The film follows Jass, played by Varun Dhawan, whose life takes an unexpected turn after moving to England following the breakdown of his marriage. What begins as a fresh start soon spirals into chaos when both his estranged wife Bani (Mrunal Thakur) and his new love interest Preet (Pooja Hegde) become pregnant, setting the stage for a series of comic twists, confusion and high-energy entertainment.
Directed by David Dhawan, the film features an ensemble cast including Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Sheirgill, Chunky Panday, Mouni Roy, Ali Asgar, Rakesh Bedi and Rajesh Kumar. Staying true to Dhawan’s signature style, the film combines romance, family drama and slapstick humour into a fast-paced entertainer.
