HDFC SKY rolls out four TVCs making premium research accessible to all investors

Delhi: HDFC Securities, a stockbroking company and subsidiary of HDFC Bank, today unveiled four new television commercials for its all-in-one investment platform, HDFC SKY. The campaign aims to make premium, research-backed insights accessible to every retail investor in India at zero cost, signaling a new era in wealth creation.

The initiative highlights how HDFC SKY combines free researched stock recommendations, flat and transparent brokerage of Rs. 20 per order, and a comprehensive, all-in-one platform catering to every investment need. Developed by creative agency Steve Priya, under founders Steve Mathias and Priya Pardiwalla, the films showcase investment decision-making, including research analysis, diversification, risk management, and strategic tools like stop-loss and GTT orders.

The campaign’s creative concept dramatizes research accessibility through humor and surprise. “Our challenge was to showcase the power of research in a way that was relatable and not intimidating. We wanted to challenge the stereotype that investing is either boring or overwhelming. The campaign films do this with humour and a touch of surprise—what if a team of sharp-suited experts suddenly appeared from the sky, offering free research and advice? That’s exactly what HDFC SKY delivers, right from your mobile device. The creative idea of experts dropping from the ‘Sky’ dramatizes how powerful research and seamless investing have been made accessible to every investor,” said the founders of Steve Priya.

The first film in the series depicts a 30-year-old man relaxing at home when five suited professionals appear on his coffee table, offering in-depth research and stock picks. When asked for the catch, they reply, “You can thank us if you like.” The man realizes they are part of the HDFC SKY app and exclaims, “Aap kya Aasman se tapak pade?” to which they respond, “Sky se! HDFC SKY—All-in-One Investment App.”

HDFC SKY’s three-pillar value proposition includes:
