Hero MotoCorp names Ishaan Khatter as Brand Ambassador, launches energetic Hero Xoom campaign for young riders

New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp has announced Ishaan Khatter as the brand ambassador for its scooter range Hero Xoom, alongside the launch of a new high-energy campaign aimed at connecting with new-age riders.

Aligned with the brand’s ethos of speed, agility and self-expression, the campaign leverages a nostalgic musical hook reimagined as ‘Xoom Xoom Xoom Baba’. The film features Ishaan Khatter performing adrenaline-fuelled stunts and transitioning into a playful ride-date narrative, set against an upbeat soundtrack and culminating in the brand’s call to action, “Get, Set, Xoom.”

The campaign positions Hero Xoom as a youthful and expressive mobility solution, with Khatter’s persona—marked by energy and spontaneity—mirroring the scooter’s core identity. The association is aimed at strengthening the brand’s connect with younger consumers seeking performance-led yet stylish urban mobility options.

Commenting on the campaign, Aashish Midha said, “Hero Xoom reflects our focus on building products and brands that resonate with young India. With its distinctive design, performance-driven features and strong street presence, it offers a differentiated riding experience. This campaign strengthens our connect with new-age riders, and we are delighted to have Ishaan Khatter on board, whose personality aligns seamlessly with the spirit of Hero Xoom.”

As the newest ambassador for Xoom, Ishaan Khatter commented, “Working with Hero MotoCorp on the Hero Xoom has been an incredible experience. What I love about this film is that it blends thrill with a touch of romance. We have set it around a fun, spontaneous scooter date, brought alive with a recreated version of a truly iconic song. It has the perfect mix of nostalgia and youthful energy. Shooting it felt effortless and exciting, and I think audiences will really connect with the vibe and chemistry the film brings to life.”

The soundtrack features vocals by Usha Uthup, while the campaign has been conceptualised by McCann India, part of Omnicom Advertising India.

Hero Xoom is available in multiple variants, including Xoom 110, Xoom 125 and Xoom 160, offering a mix of sporty design, performance-driven features, and advanced technology such as fast acceleration, 14-inch wheels, LED projector headlamps, and front disc brakes.
