The country is an amalgamation of cultures, ideologies, creators and languages and this 26th of January, IndigoMusic.com celebrated the unique and vibrant republic with an equally unique form of art & music – Rap. Indigo Music brought together the “Republic of Rap” to give viewers a taste of just how diverse India is; 7 voices, 1 country.
The Platform got young indie rappers from the city, who rap in different languages, under one roof to represent the republic. Rappers in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, English, etc came together, performing in their native tongue.
Hosted at Indigo XP Koramangala, Rappers like Luthor, Swat, Nex, Loud Silence, Tintin, King Sinister and Harish presented energetic performances and their wizardry with words for the Republic of Rap music video. Spitting verses in their regional languages, they talked about unique elements of their culture, their perspectives and the republic. Republic of Rap is Conceptualized and shot with in-house resources.
