New Delhi: Aster DM Foundation, the social responsibility arm of Aster DM Healthcare announced the inaugural Aster Media Awards function will be held on October 13th at Delhi. Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Shri J.P Naddashallbe the chief guest on the occasion and give away the awards. Aster Media Awards is instituted to recognize excellence in journalism that helps shape public awareness and influence action on social issues.The awards are being given for stories around protecting ways of life of Indian and international communities, curbing social-ills, protecting environment, educating on health and wellness and inspiring young minds towards education and empowerment of disadvantaged communities.
The awards ceremony will also feature a discussion on the Right to Health and will see eminent persons like Dr. Srinath Reddy, President, Public Health Foundation of India, Mr. M.C. Misra, Director, AIIMS, Mr. Shashi Kumar, Chairman, Media Development Foundation & Asian College of Journalism along with Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman & Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare discussing the possibilities of making Right to Health as fundamental.
