Bangalore : Kannada GEC market is witnessing a season of Reality formats and Kasthuri Channel seems to be no exemption to the trend as the Channel is gearing up for a reality plunge with its new reality format Star of Karnataka.
The Channel is all set to start the new reality show Star of Karnataka, which will be aired from 15th August during weekends.
Kasturi channel has roped in famous actor and producer Madan Patel as one among the judges for Star of Karnakata and they are in the process of finalizing the other two celebrity judges.
The auditions for Star of Karnakata is planned in six different cities of Karnataka including Bangalore city, starting from 28th June and it will go on till 8th of July.
Kasturi Channel has fixed the following Venue and date for the audition of Star of Karnataka :
On 28th June the audition for Mysuru was held at Sharada Vilas College and today (30th June) the audition ofr Mangaluru is happening at Don Bosco Hall, On July 2nd the audition for Davangare town will be held at Padmashree Chandodileela Kalakshetra, On 3rd July the audition for Hubballi town will be held at KLEICBA College, On 5th July the audition for Kalaburgi will be held at Sardar Vallabhai Patel College and On 8th July the Bangalore City audition will be held at Kanteerava Studio.
The contestants who are above the age of 15 years are invited to participate on the talent hunt for identifying the Star of Karnataka.
Kasthuri Channel has jumped in to the GEC war in Karnataka market after being taken over by the new management under White Horse Network Services under the leadership of Veteran TV personality Mr. Kailasam. The Channel has roped in aidem ventures as the ad sales partners.
