Kirana Club details most popular FMCG brands among Indian retail community in 2023

The FMCG market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14.9 pc to USD 220 billion in the next couple of years, according to a report by the Kirana Club.

Kirana stores have been an integral part of India’s retail landscape for decades and these small, neighborhood stores cater to the daily needs of consumers, offering a range of household and grocery products. Kirana Club is India’s largest Kirana Community. The app-based platform has kirana owners participating, connecting and influencing each other and has over 15 lakh members across 10 states and 16000 pincodes.

The club recently released a list of popular FMCG products/ brands among the country’s kirana owners in 2023. The items on the list include:

Dettol original soap

Fortune refined soybean oil

Parle G biscuits

Surf Excel easy wash detergent powder

Patanjali Dant Kanti natural toothpaste

Maggi 2-minute masala instant noodles

Godrej No.1 lavender milk cream soap

Britannia Good Day butter cookies

Cadbury Celebrations chocolate

Ghadi detergent bar

Clinic Plus strength shine egg protein shampoo

Ghadi detergent powder

Parle Kismi toffee

Patanjali doodh biscuits
