Levista join hands with Hello FM to salute Corona Warriors

Chennai: Levista Coffee joined hands with Corporation of Chennai to salute Corona Warriors which include Corona patients at hospitals, Conservancy Workers, Police Force on duty, Doctors & Nurses among others in Tamil Nadu. During this 10-day campaign, Levista shall distribute 10,000 cups of Coffee to the warriors who are helping Covid-19 affected patients as well as their families while putting their own lives at great risk. In this endeavor, Levista has tied up with their existing Media partner Hello FM, Tamil Nadu’s No. 1 Radio Station for ground activation.

Titled “Seyal Veerargalukku Nandri”, Levista shall serve Coffee across the city of Chennai, dayand night (depending on Lockdown / Curfew Regulations) to those who are serving from the front. Every day, there would be a particular area where Coffee would be served from Levista Mobile Van to patients, doctors, nurses, police & health workers. Levista shall also sell their packaged Coffee Powder at discounted prices to those who wish to buy them.

Prakash, IAS under the aegis of Thiru.EdappadiPalanisamy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has managed to not only keep the infection under control as well as stopping the spread and contraction through various means. We thank the Government of Tamil Nadu for giving us an opportunity to serve our society.”

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Rajeev Nambiar, Chief Executive Officer, Hello FM, said “We as the number one and the most listened to station in Chennai and Tamil Nadu, has always been an integral part of our Advertisers and Brand Marketeers fulfilment of their social responsibilities, especially in this pandemic situation. We are glad to partner with Levista Coffee, as they reach out to the safe keepers of our Nation. We at Hello FM are wholeheartedly supporting and saluting this initiative of Levista Instant Coffee as their Activation and broadcast partners.”

Core members of Greater Chennai Corporation, Thiru. Kumaravel Pandian, Deputy Commissioner (Works),Thiru.Madhusudhana Reddy, Joint Commissioner and Tmt. Jeyasheela, Asst. Commissioner (Administration)flagged off the event on 30th July 2020 at Amma Maaligai, Rippon Building, Chennai. Mrs. UmayalSathappan, Director, SLN Coffee Pvt. Ltd., and Ms. Kavvya Chandrashekar, AVP Hello FM honored the event as Guests of Honor. RJ Balaji from Hello FM was the host of the show.

Levista offers Instant and Filter Coffee Powder and shares valuable shelf space with the likes of Internationally & nationally acclaimed brands. The Company plans to deeply penetrate the two Southern States of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka during this Financial Year which currently contribute to over two-thirds of its business.

“Levista is currently present across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Puducherry through a Distribution Network spanning over 600 Distributors and has added over 6,000 new Retail Stores since the lockdown began, taking the total tally to over 34,000 and more General Trade stores, popularly known as Kirana shops or Mom & Pop Stores. On Modern Retail, Levista is present across India at select stores through Reliance Retail, More Supermarkets, SPAR, Spencer’s, Metro Cash & Carry, as well as on online website such as Amazon, Big Basket, Flipkart, Udaan, Swiggy & Dunzo”, said Shriram adding that the company aims to onboard 1,500 more Distributors and reach a tally of 100,000 Points of Sales by the end of FY 2022.
