Milind Soman joins BHIVE as Brand Ambassador to drive active workspace vision

Mumbai: BHIVE Workspace, a campus coworking company, has announced the appointment of Milind Soman—actor, supermodel, Ironman finisher, and fitness icon—as its brand ambassador. With this move, BHIVE claims to become the first campus-format coworking company globally to onboard a brand ambassador, reinforcing its positioning around fitness, community, and active lifestyle.

The partnership aligns with BHIVE’s differentiated campus model, which integrates large-format workspaces with sports infrastructure, recreational facilities, and community ecosystems under one roof. The company’s work-life harmony philosophy finds a natural fit in Soman, known for his endurance-driven lifestyle and achievements such as completing the Ironman Triathlon at 50.

The association goes beyond a conventional celebrity endorsement, reflecting a broader vision to create workspaces that promote productivity alongside a balanced and active lifestyle. Soman’s philosophy of discipline and fitness is closely aligned with BHIVE’s focus on building high-performance, wellness-oriented environments.

Commenting on the association, Shesh Rao Paplikar, Founder & CEO, BHIVE Workspace, said, “Running BHIVE is not just a business for me, it’s an opportunity to make a real impact in people’s lives. We have always believed a workspace should support how people live, move, and show up every day. When we sat down to think about who could truly represent that vision, there was only one name. Milind Soman is one of the people who put Ironman on the map in India, long before endurance sports went mainstream. That kind of pioneering spirit is exactly what BHIVE stands for. I completed Ironman 70.3 Goa last year and I am going back this year, with a much larger BHIVE community alongside me. With Milind now part of the BHIVE family, that movement is only going to get bigger.”

BHIVE campuses already feature running and endurance clubs, sports infrastructure such as pickleball courts and football turfs, and community tournaments like the BHIVE Premier League (BPL). The company has also set a target to enable over 50 members to participate in Ironman 70.3 Goa in 2026—a milestone already achieved by Soman.

The partnership also reflects a unique synergy, with Paplikar himself being an Ironman 70.3 Goa finisher, making this a rare instance where both founder and brand ambassador share similar athletic credentials.

Sharing his thoughts, Milind Soman said, “My first interaction with Shesh and the BHIVE team left a lasting impression. Their commitment to fitness and health are deeply aligned with my own values that extend into every aspect of life. What drew me to BHIVE is that they are not just talking about fitness, they are building fitness, discipline, and consistency into the very infrastructure of work. Running clubs, endurance targets, sports facilities inside office campuses, this is a fundamentally different idea of what a workplace should be. As workplace trends continue to evolve toward hybrid models, wellness integration, and experience-led environments—particularly among Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and high-growth enterprises—BHIVE’s campus-led approach aims to address these shifts. The association with Soman marks a strategic step in positioning the company as not just a coworking provider, but a fitness-first, lifestyle-driven workspace platform.
