New Delhi: MSM Unify has appointed Rohit Kumar as Co-founder & President, India Business, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly evolving higher education ecosystem.
In his new role, Kumar will lead MSM Unify’s India Business vertical, overseeing institutional partnerships, campus engagement strategy, and domestic growth. Working closely with the company’s global leadership, he will focus on connecting Indian universities and colleges with international academic and career pathways through scalable, technology-enabled engagement models.
Kumar brings over 24 years of cross-industry experience spanning telecom, IT services, and edtech. Most recently, he served as Co-founder and COO of CollegeDekho, where he played a key role in scaling the organisation into a ₹300 crore revenue enterprise, achieving a 67% CAGR over five years and building partnerships with more than 2,000 institutions across India. Under his leadership, the platform expanded into adjacent verticals such as learning, marketing services, and overseas education, while attracting investments from firms including GirnarSoft, ADQ, ETS, and Man Capital.
Earlier in his career, Kumar held senior leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Sify Technologies, Indiatimes, and Videocon, where he drove revenue growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Nagpur.
