Bengaluru: Snabbit, a first quick-service app for on-demand home services, has announced the appointment of Abhinav Ankur as Chief Business Officer (CBO). The move comes as the company looks to consolidate its early leadership in India’s rapidly evolving and largely untapped home services market.
A seasoned operator with experience across high-growth consumer internet and logistics platforms, Abhinav will spearhead Snabbit’s business expansion strategy as the company transitions from early traction to structured market leadership. He has previously held leadership roles at OYO and WheelsEye, where he drove large-scale business growth, operational efficiency, and category expansion.
Snabbit has been gaining strong momentum, positioning itself as a category creator in the quick-service home services segment. Within six months, the platform has scaled from 10,000 to over 40,000 daily jobs and surpassed 1 million cumulative jobs in March, reflecting robust consumer adoption and repeat usage in a high-frequency category.
India’s home services market, estimated at over $60 billion, remains largely fragmented and offline. However, it is witnessing rapid growth, projected at a CAGR of 18–22% through FY2030, driven by increasing consumer demand for convenience, reliability, and accountability—areas where digital platforms are gaining traction.
As the market begins to formalise, Snabbit is building a differentiated model that goes beyond demand aggregation by structuring supply and enabling consistent service delivery at scale. The company’s focus on speed, reliability, and operational discipline is helping it emerge as an early market leader in the segment.
Abhinav’s appointment comes at a critical juncture as Snabbit sharpens its focus on strengthening its operating model, deepening market presence, and expanding across urban centres.
“Opportunities to shape a category at this scale are rare,” said Abhinav Ankur, Chief Business Officer, Snabbit. “Daily home services remain one of the largest offline segments in India. What stood out to me about Snabbit is the clarity of the model and the early signs of product-market fit. The pace of adoption, combined with strong execution, creates the opportunity not just to participate in this market, but to define it.”

Aayush Agarwal, Founder, Snabbit, added, “Scaling a category like ours requires both speed and structure, with the importance of the latter only increasing as we grow. Abhinav brings a deep understanding of how to build systems that can operate at this level of complexity, and we’re excited to have him lead this next phase with us. Having scaled from 400 to 40,000 daily jobs in under a year, we are at a clear inflection point. The depth and discipline with which we operate from here will define our ability to build a high-quality, sustainable organization that serves millions of customers and experts.”
With this strategic hire, Snabbit is reinforcing its ambition to become the defining platform for on-demand home services in India, backed by investments in talent, technology, and infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.
