MTV India to adapt the local Version of Next Top Model Format

Mumbai : The hit CBS Studios International reality format America’s Next Top Model is being adapted for MTV India.

Bulldog Media & Entertainment licensed the format and is prepping an Indian treatment for a mid-2015 launch. India’s Next Top Model will be awarding the competition winner a contract with a modeling agency, a cover in a reputed fashion magazine and a campaign to be the face of a brand.

The original America’s Next Top Model, created by Tyra Banks, is under license in more than 100 markets, with 20 international versions in production.

Roxanne Pompa, the VP of international sales and production at CBS Studios International, said, “The America’s Next Top Model format continues to entertain audiences all around the world and we are excited to have the opportunity to see the Indian version make its debut. It is a show that has a great amount of style, glamor and entertainment, and we are confident that Bulldog Media & Entertainment and MTV India will deliver a groundbreaking and enjoyable experience for viewers in India.”
