Nerolac Suraksha paints has launched a campaign for this festive season to push the importance of a well decorated house as an indicator of social and economic status.
In the ad, created by Publicis, a respectable doctor receives letters from a postman in discourteous manner despite his attempts to make his qualifications evident with large brass signs emblazoned on the side of his house.
The Nerolac Suraksha TVC film ends with the voice of God mocking the doctor for doing everything to earn respect but losing it only to save a few bucks by using poor quality paint.

It’s this; most people will judge your station in life and the respect you deserve by how your house looks from the outside. That’s because, other than your friends and family, very few people will get the chance to be inside your home and see the investments you have made in the beautiful interiors.”
