Chennai: NS Easwaran is set to relocate to Bangalore for his new assignment as South Head – Sales for ETV News Cluster of Channels.
He would be reporting to Mr. Mukund Setlur who is the Business Head for the cluster. Easwaran would be relocating to Bangalore from Mumbai.
He will be replacing Pradeep Thomas who moved back to Asianet News. Easwaran will be responsible for driving the revenues of 13 channels of ETV New Network namely ETV News Rajasthan, UP, MP, Bihar, Bangla, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Gujarati, News 18 Assam, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Punjab.
NS Easwaran has around two decades of experience in Media Sales and Broadcast Business. Prior to joining Network18 he was associated with Zee Group in various functions that includes the Business Head role for its Tamil GEC Zee Tamil.
He was instrumental in driving the Zee Tamil’s viewership consistently by expanding the distribution in Arasu Cable TV and TataSky and also by beefing up the Movie Library of the channel with slew of big-ticket acquisitions. Leading fiction shows such as ThalaianaiPookal and Lakshmi Vandachi, which are running successfully, were structured and created by his team only.
