One Source bags creative & integrated marketing duties for Upsparks

New Delhi: Bengaluru-based early-stage VC firm Upsparks, investor, and partner to start-ups such as Zypp, Bambrew, Decentro, SkilloVilla among others, today announced their partnership with leading Indian integrated marketing business impact consultancy, One Source. Involving brand management across paid, shared, earned, and owned platforms, the remit will span creative duties, digital marketing, content marketing, and corporate communication for the brand.

Incorporated in 2020, by a team of successful entrepreneurs, Mohamad Faraz, Shivam Prasad, and Vinay Jain, Upsparks is an early-stage venture capital firm known for its exceptional expertise in finding, assessing, and nurturing technology start-ups. Their grasp of early-stage technology investments enables them to invest well ahead of other players in the space, giving them priority access to high-performing investment opportunities.

For One Source, the mandate will be spearheaded by lead counsel on the account, Shriya Joshi, supported by the national team across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

Speaking of the partnership, Mohamad Faraz, Founding Partner, Upsparks, opined, “We were looking for a partner who could help drive creativity and communication for us cross-platform. The reason One Source resonated is because of some exceptional work we got to know they do with other players in the venture capital, wealth management, and allied spaces which cater to finding the round peg for the round hole. At Upsparks, we were looking for someone to drive quality, not just tick-in-the-box players. Thence, One Source”.

Srishty Chawla, Co-founder, One Source said, “Over the last four years, we have realized the harmony of working with brands who think of marketing as a revenue center. Upsparks and One Source connected so well, because both brands share the ethos of growing partners and alongside”, to which added Kishor Barua, Country Lead – Corporate Communication, One Source, “Not thinking digital marketing, content marketing, or public relations as standalone disciplines have helped us in our burning desire of working with leaders such as Upsparks. We hope to work together for many years to come!”.

In the last four fiscals, One Source has grown 100% across clientele, revenue, headcount, and more. Across their offices, they service Indian and global market leaders across BFSI, construction, manufacturing, pharma & healthcare, plastics & packaging, business consulting, e-commerce, ICT, the start-up space holistically, and more. The firm has signed on more than a dozen integrated clientele in the quarter ended June 2021, basis business impact integrated marketing.

Of note is the fact that even amidst the COVID-driven turmoil, One Source has continued to sign on clientele and people, avoiding retrenchments and ensuring that their people and partners benefit at all times.
