Mumbai: Ormax Consultants, a consumer understanding and consulting firm, has announced the launch of a new strategic division — Ormax WhatNext. This latest initiative is designed to offer brand advisory and mentorship services to MSMEs and founder-led businesses, helping them seize new opportunities, reimagine their brand identity, and scale up with clarity and purpose.

Ormax WhatNext has been conceptualized as a dedicated growth and brand strategy arm for companies that are at critical inflection points — be it category expansion, brand reinvention, or building distinctiveness in competitive markets.

Spearheaded by Vispy Doctor, Chairman & Managing Director of Ormax Consultants Private Limited, the division is backed by a multi-disciplinary team of experts in consumer behaviour, storytelling, and innovation. The new division will work closely with promoter-driven businesses to provide highly tailored and collaborative solutions aimed at unlocking scalable impact.

“Ormax WhatNext came from a much-needed gap we identified in the Indian business ecosystem. While giant firms across sectors have levers to sustain growth, the founders and owners of MSMEs sometimes struggle to innovate or arrest decline despite having a zeal. Our goal is to work closely with such promoters and appreciate the personal and instinctive nature of their businesses. We aim to bring in structure, strategy, and storytelling to complement that intuition — ensuring that their vision keeps pace with changing times,” said Vispy Doctor.

Already active across sectors, Ormax WhatNext has begun working with a mix of companies — from traditional businesses aiming for modern relevance, to startups launching bold and disruptive ideas.
