PHD India tops COMvergence H1 2024 New Business Barometer Report; OMG India secures 2nd place among Indian Agency Groups

Mumbai: Omnicom Media Group (OMG) India’s agency, PHD India, has been awarded the top-ranked media agency for new business results according to the just-released New Business Barometer H1 2024 India report from the leading independent and international research company, COMvergence. The rankings establish a benchmark for excellence and growth and a means to evaluate the highest performers in the industry.

At the group level, coming out top, parent company Omnicom Media Group India ranks #2 on new business rankings amongst competition Agency Groups.

As per the report, PHD India outperformed its competitors in incremental billings won and earned the #1 spot by adding close to $63M in net new business won, powered by strong wins and big-ticket retentions including, the Škoda Volkswagen Group, HP, Oppo and more.

Marking its 11th anniversary in the market this month, PHD India’s journey has been on an upward trajectory, clinching the ranking on the heels of winning the Agency of the Year at the 2024 Pitch BFSI awards. The agency—with its legacy renowned for its focus on media strategy and craft—has been on a mission to unravelling complexity, employing nuance to its media-led creative craft and driving strong outcomes.

OMG India and PHD India have also secured the highest retention rate amongst agencies in the country at 72% and 88%, respectively. Omnicom Media Group also stands at #1 in the New Business Rankings both in the Asia Pacific region and globally.

Omnicom Media Group India has witnessed strong growth in recent years, and doubling down on this, 2024 has been a year of momentum for OMG and its agencies in the market.
