With her spectacular bold looks and amazing acting skills, Alia Bhatt has won many hearts across the globe for her performance. The film traces the story of a simple girl, Ganga, whose life turns upside down when she is sold to a brothel. She then embraces her destiny and swings it in her favor. The film is set to premiere on &pictures on March 11, 2023.
Another film produced by Alia Bhatt, Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, Darlings, starring Alia Bhatt is a dark comedy thriller and co-stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in lead roles. The actor portrays the role of Badru, a simple homemaker suffering from domestic violence by her husband. She decides to take matters in her own hands to get justice. Darlings will premiere on &pictures on March 15, 2023, which also marks Alia’s birthday.
Speaking about the special premieres, Alia Bhatt says, “Well, it is never about gender-centric roles. Good scripts and strong characters have always interested me. Playing Gangu or Badru has been very intense and truthful. I have put in a lot of hard work to understand the characters and get into the skin of Gangu and Badru. I hope the films reach a wider audience with their premieres on &pictures.”
