Mumbai: Audio series platform Pocket FM has announced its integration with Amazon Alexa, enabling Alexa users in India to discover, play, and enjoy its extensive library of audio series on Alexa-enabled devices.
With this launch, listeners can access Pocket FM’s long-form, episodic stories seamlessly on devices such as Echo smart speakers and smart displays using simple voice commands. Alexa users can say, “Alexa, start Pocket FM” to launch the audio storytelling experience. India is the first market where this integration is live, marking a significant step in Pocket FM’s mission to make audio storytelling a natural part of everyday life.
Existing Pocket FM users can link their accounts through the Alexa app and continue listening from where they left off, while new users can explore genres, recommendations, and start their preferred audio series from the first episode. Multiple hours of free content are available without account linking, with guidance from Alexa for account creation or linking to access premium content.

Speaking on the collaboration, Vineet Singh, SVP and Head – Brand Marketing and Partnerships, Pocket FM, said, “The future of storytelling will be shaped by how naturally it fits into everyday life. Voice-enabled access through Alexa adds that layer with continuity to long-form audio listening, allowing people to move seamlessly between devices without losing their connection to a story. Over time, this changes how audiences engage with audio, making storytelling more continuous and habitual.”

Teena Sidana, Country Manager, Alexa India, added, “Audio content is one of the most popular ways Indian customers engage with Alexa. By bringing Pocket FM’s extensive library of audio stories to Alexa, we are bringing more audio content options, making the overall entertainment experience enjoyable for every member of the household. Whether it’s unwinding with a gripping thriller or escaping into a fantasy world, Alexa customers can now ask for a variety of audio stories by just using their voice.”
Pocket FM’s full content library is now available on Alexa, supporting its free, subscription-based, and coin-based models. The integration is expected to broaden Pocket FM’s reach, engaging Alexa users in India seeking immersive, long-form audio storytelling experiences.
