Bengaluru: Travel planning platform Roamiyo has rolled out a new digital campaign that uses humour to spotlight one of the most common pain points for travellers—organising group trips with friends and family. Through a light-hearted campaign film, the brand showcases the endless discussions, budget debates, spreadsheets, group chats and last-minute changes that often make planning a holiday more stressful than the trip itself.
Built around the insight that the excitement of travelling often gets overshadowed by the complexity of planning, the campaign positions Roamiyo as an all-in-one travel companion that simplifies collaboration, itinerary planning and travel management.
The film transforms an ordinary group discussion into an exaggerated “secret den” for travel planning, using relatable situations and visual humour to portray the challenges of coordinating a trip. It ultimately demonstrates how Roamiyo streamlines the process by bringing trip planning, bookings, collaboration and travel management together on a single platform.
Roamiyo’s platform offers features such as Trip Mode, Group Trip Mode and smart itinerary planning, enabling users to organise travel plans, coordinate with fellow travellers, manage shared decisions and keep important trip information accessible without juggling multiple apps, chat threads or documents.
Speaking about the campaign, Sumanth Donthi, Founder, Roamiyo, said, “Travel should begin with excitement, but very often the planning process becomes the most exhausting part of the journey. Anyone who has planned a trip knows how quickly one holiday can turn into dozens of conversations, different preferences and scattered information. We wanted to capture that experience in a way that feels familiar and entertaining, while showing how Roamiyo can make the entire journey, from planning to actually being on the trip, far more seamless and enjoyable.”
Rather than focusing solely on destination discovery or bookings, the campaign highlights the broader challenge of managing every stage of a journey, reflecting the company’s ambition to create a more connected travel experience.
The digital campaign is being rolled out across social media, digital video platforms and online communities, targeting travellers across age groups and travel preferences. Through the initiative, Roamiyo aims to reinforce its proposition that travel should feel exciting from the moment the idea is conceived—not just when the journey begins.
