Mumbai: Shalimar Paints Limited has announced the appointment of Kuldip Raina as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), effective April 10, 2025. His term will span three years, through April 9, 2028, subject to shareholders’ approval.
This strategic leadership transition comes at a critical juncture for Shalimar Paints as it seeks to infuse new energy into its operations, modernize its market presence, and deepen its connect with contemporary consumers. Under Mr. Raina’s stewardship, the company will prioritize innovation, customer experience, and quality leadership, aiming to usher in a new era of sustainable and transformative growth.
With over three decades of cross-sector experience across paints, FMCG, retail, and consumer goods, Mr. Raina has been an integral part of Shalimar Paints’ transformation journey since May 2022, serving as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Sourcing. His appointment to the top leadership role reflects the company’s confidence in his ability to blend legacy strength with forward-looking strategies.
Prior to joining Shalimar Paints, Mr. Raina served as CEO of Nerofix Private Limited, a Kansai Nerolac Paints Group company, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the brand as a formidable player in the adhesives and construction chemicals segment. His career spans key leadership positions at Kansai Nerolac Paints, Jubilant Industries, Arvind Brands, and ITC Limited, with a proven track record in innovation-led growth and team transformation.
